Do you ever stop telling people you are sorry? Laughable cunt.

As for Babs, was sad how she spent her final years, that aside had an unbelievable life. Loved being seen and having relationships with villains back when.

Cheers mate. Hopefully Babs family will find some peace now as it's a tough disease for all.

Lost my mum to it earlier this year too. In her late 80s but not fully herself for the last 12 years although we only saw the worst of it in her last 3 or so years which is better than most.

IMO its like watching someone slip away in front of you over months and years. So in reality its harder on the family / loved ones who lose the person but then have a small fraction if any left with them for a period of time. The person themselves eventually becomes unaware of it of course but its the onset that is the worst part when they know somethings happening and fear / anxiety etc takes over :-(

In some cases the whole process is 10+ years but looks like Babs dementia / altzheimers ( if it was a combination which it sometimes is) showed about 5 - 7 years back ?

Shame the old Carry On team has almost gone. The last vestiges of political incorrectness, british toilet humour, innuendo etc. leaving us to be replaced by "Woke" and a world where people take themselves far too seriously.

RIP Babs .... "oooh saucy"

Re: Barbara Windsor has got her baps out for the last time
Mrs Southbank worked on a well-known TV show for some time. She said Babs was a lovely, warm-hearted woman who genuinely didn't care if you were the director, tea lady or anybody in between - treated them all with the same warmth, humour and respect.

I like that tribute. That's a epitaph we should all aspire to.
